Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much time does a shoot take?

    • A shoot usually takes from 1-3 hours depending on the amount of square footage; usually 1 hour per 1000 sq. ft.

  • How many photos are included?

    • As many as needed to display the home at its best advantage: on average 1-3 photos per room from different angles and 4-6 exterior shots, plus photos of any community amenities.

  • Does the realtor or homeowner need to be present for the entire shoot?

    • Your preference, but I am comfortable working alone or with the homeowner if necessary.

  • Is staging important?

    • It is essential. A decluttered and properly staged home is perceived by prospective buyers as being more open, inviting and as having adequate storage; many times homes sell quicker and for more money.

  • Will you do staging during the shoot?

    • Ideally staging has been completed before I arrive so I can concentrate on the photography. However I will do some light staging but I will not move heavy objects. A Real Estate photography checklist is available to be given to the homeowner prior to the shoot

  • How quickly do I receive the photos and how do I get them?

    • Every attempt will be made to deliver the photos to my clients within 24 hours of the completion of the shoot. I provide 2 sets of 30-40 photos: one sized for the MLS and a larger set for print or other media. I can deliver the photos via Dropbox or I can use a Google drive folder sent to me by the client.

  • How important is it to have professional photos in a listing?

  • What should we do with our Pets?

    • All pets, including cats and dogs, need to be either crated or removed from the home for the scheduled time of the shoot.
